CNY!

Gambling/eating/gambling/eating/gambling/eating.... haha sounds like paradise, anyway tts pretty much how i spent my time during the CNY weekend. Feeling quite lazy now so jus gna give a brief update:

Saturday:
T34 class gathering at Ian's damn big house. Ate steamboat. Played a little guitar hero. Lost $4.40 in poker/blackjack, thank god the stakes were small haha. But still had to take the last bus to lavender to save money and then cabbed home from there:)

Sunday:
Reunion dinner at Grandma's place. Ate steamboat again. Coincidentally also johnathan's 21st bday so celebrated his bday as well...The cake was freaking nice:) Also the only day where there was no gambling.....

Monday:
Went to grandma's place again:) Everyone showed off their new clothes today:) Stayed there till abt 9pm then went over to marilyn's hse. Watched Ip man for the second time -.-" Also the only day where i actually won money. Haha won $12 from playing blackjack for like the whole day. Also helped Joseph to win like $30 in blackjack at Marilyn's place.

Tuesday:
Spent the whole morning trying to do hw. Obviously unsuccessful. Didnt touch a thing, I'll prob regret it later though... Went to play mj during the afternoon. Met Serene after like 1 yr:) But lost $3 haha. Had to leave early so rebecca came over to take over.

Anyway HAPPY NIU YEAR!!!

The First Weekend!

Technically not really the first weekend of this yr but to me it pretty much is cos its the 1st weekend since sch reopened and during the hols, everyday pretty much felt the same.

Spent quite a lot of money ystd. Finally bought my watch after like 2 weeks of searching. Haha see it is possible to find it:) Got it at PS. Later went to bugis junction to get my CNY pants so i'm now all set for CNY:) Then got a new belt at Bugis street where Eve unleashed her bargaining powers and saved me $2:) haha it wasnt relli bargaining but more like whining but it worked!

And we somehow ended up watching Ong Bak 2 at Yishun. Although its an action movie, felt more like a comedy cos we kept on laughing whenever they started speaking in thai. So obviously i only had a vague idea of the story cos spent most of the time lauging. Haha didnt no thai was such a funny language! Luckily there wasnt much dialogue cos most of the movie was just screaming and shouting. Tony Jaa only had like 2-3 lines throughout the whole show. He spends most of the time looking pissed and beating up everyone. Anyway the show had a relli retarded abrupt ending. Heard it was bc Tony ran off b4 shooting finished. They attempted to explain the ending but didnt no wat they were talking abt. Smth to do with cursed karma, fate and mental power...



Dinner!!!



Anyway today is my 'do homework day':)))) Got stacks of weekend hw so need to clear it:( Totally no idea wats happening in chem/econs cos i was stoning throughout both lectures so its gna take me ages to do both tutorials. Plus we still hav maths tutorial, maths Holiday hw and Gp essay. Sighs.....

Back to school

New school term finally started, coincidentally on the same day as the release of 'O' lvl results. New home tutor, new gp tutor, new econs tutor, new chem tutor(i think), new gp class, new chem class, new clb class, new home classroom....

Oh and i'm gna kill rachel, she totally wasted my time. Go to her 'blog' and u'll understand http://www.sweetestrevenge.blogspot.com Her blog pretty much sums up today.....

Mahjong

Played mahjong today which is really fitting since CNY is coming. Havent played it for ages, which prob explains y i lost all my money to rachel who said she 'didnt know how to play'. Anyway, i'm now broke & depressed... haha actually not really since i only lost $2 but still...... Anyway i left early(not bc i lost) so if i'm not wrong, they'r prob still playing, albeit 3 player mj....Anyway it just dawned on me tt school is starting soon. Well i knew tt ages ago but i only really realised it today. It doesn't help tt i still haven touched anything yet but at least i discovered today wat the hist hw is so tt's a start. N i was just looking at the chem hw and i hav no idea how to do it. So if anyone wants to teach me, or better still lend me their work, I'll be damn happy and grateful to u forever:)))) Luckily there is no maths holiday hw, i think, actually not sure, but everyone says there isnt so there shouldnt be... Lets hope i'll be able to clear everything by next monday:)))) Btw anyone who has maths tuition to recommend tell me! Cos my maths sucks haha

Wii

My life pretty much revolved arnd wii today haha. Went to cine today to play wii but it was all booked up when we reached there so we had to book the 630 slot. And to pass time we ended up... playing bridge/big 2 for 2.5 hrs at cine haha. Surprised no one chased us away. Then at 630, the counter lady told us to come back at 7 cos someone b4 us came late -.-" Then when we finally got our controls, 2 of the controllers didnt work, so we actually only started playing at 720 :(

Anyway i'm just gna post a funny convo to make this post longer haha

Note: It's 1230pm and we r suppose to meet at 1 at cine. N we both live in Serangoon!

Happy New Year!

2009 is finally here! haha not relli looking forward to this yr since there's 'A' levels which means lots of stress! Anyway 2008 seem to pass by real quick, hopefully tt applies for 2009 then finally no more national examinations! Although there's still uni and stuff but i heard its much less stressful:) Anyway quick update on my LAST week of 2008:

Monday:
Didnt do much today. Dwl' zombie' by the cranberries. Really really old song, like from the 1960s haha. First heard it on 'Dont forget the lyrics' and liked it even though the guy singing it sucked haha. But still no idea wat the song is abt even after looking up the lyrics.

Tuesday:
Went to shop at town today. No one actually bought anything and pretty much spent the whole day looking for my watch since it turned out i was the only one who wanted to buy something. So the only productive thing we did was watch 'Ip man' at Shaw. Nearly fell asleep during the talking parts and only paid attention to the action scenes. Plus the guy in front of me had a relli big head so had trouble seeing the subtitles -.-" N for some reason, i felt pukey at Carl's junior, n yu sheng's response was 'u pregnant ah?' haha.Oh and i ran into kai lin as well at the paragon. Turned out she's back for holidays.

Wednesday:
Supposed to go play wii at cine today. But bc jesmond was late for like 2.5hrs, all we did was watch a movie haha. He managed to get himself lost and somehow ended up at far east-.-" As a result, wasted ALOT of money waiting for him, haha mostly on photohunt. We actually created our own account, called 'stupidjes' haha. Anyway he abandoned us at arnd 10 to go watch another movie with his frens. So went to his hse to celebrate countdown without him which is actually quite weird.
